A very special blanket

Let's just say this is the blanket I made for an old friend who had a special baby boy...

Baby Quilts

Here are some baby blankets that I have made...
This one was a custom order for Emily...her room was pink and green with Lady Bugs:)
Hand appliquéd and made with love!

Another custom order...

One of my favorites that went to one very adorable boy named James

July, July, July

So for my first official blog, I will recap July...I came back from NY and spent two weeks taking classes. The first was sooo intense! 4 days of class, two critiques, 3 reflections, and a final exam, not to mention all the presentations and case studies in class. Anyway within two weeks I was six credits into my 12 credit month. The next class was equally as intense, but no final, no sweat!
This last week has seen me study and relax and recharge my batteries, except that I had to study for two exams...Social Science Subject Area, and the Professional Education State exams.
I drove up to Melbourne about an hour and a half north and took my first test yesterday, passing the Social Science exam, even though I wasn't sure that was going to be the case...I didn't really study what was actually tested. Thank Goodness! Today I took the Professional Ed test and passed that, so as soon as I finish my classes I will be an official teacher!
I stayed in a gorgeous hotel last night in Melbourne, a Hilton, that I got a great deal on, on priceline...if you are looking for a nice hotel, that is the way to do it! First rate hotels at a great price!
So two more weeks of class, and then two weeks and school starts again! Craziness!

Wow it has really happened!

I officially have a blog...can it be? I am not sure what this will be, probably a mix of projects, thoughts and ideas...
